Description
The Viessmann 7825487 Fixed High Limit Switch prevents compatible heating equipment from continuing operation when the monitored temperature reaches 210F/99C. Its fixed setpoint provides a specific thermal cutoff rather than an adjustable temperature range, while the switch contacts change state when the sensing temperature reaches the rated limit. The switch is installed at the specified temperature monitoring point, with its electrical connections connected to the compatible control circuit in HVAC systems. This safety control blocks continued heating when excessive temperature is detected. Its switching action supports controlled shutdown of the connected heating equipment, reducing overheating conditions and maintaining the intended safety sequence during extreme temperature conditions.
